In its factory position the steering damper on a Wrangler JK sits badly exposed to the terrain — a rock or a deep rut is enough to end its working life. The HD relocation kit moves the damper mount above the drag link, out of the line of impacts, and bolts on at the front axle.

It is made from 5 mm structural steel, zinc plated and powder coated with a textured finish. The bushing takes a 12 mm bolt, and that mounting bolt comes with the kit.
