An HD Profi steering damper relocation kit for the Jeep Wrangler JK 2007-2017. It moves the damper mount above the drag link and takes competition dampers with a spherical bearing eye: 40 mm eye spacing, 16 mm bolt. Made from 5 mm structural steel, zinc plated.
A steering damper mounted the factory way, underneath the drag link, is the first thing to take a hit off-road. The HD Profi relocation kit moves its mount above the drag link — well away from the rocks — and lets you fit competition dampers with a spherical bearing eye (16 mm bore, 40 mm eye spacing).
5 mm structural steel, zinc plated and powder coated with a textured finish. It bolts on at the front axle; the mounting bolt is included.
