Escape INDIANA 140 cm LONG Roof Tent Day&Night with Anti-Condensation Mat – Grey

New model of the "long" version of the most compact Escape Indiana tent – the top of the Escape range. Sleeps 2–3 people comfortably and fits on the roof of even the smallest cars and 4x4s.

All Escape roof tents are built with care and attention to detail and come with a 24-month warranty.

Colour: Grey. Supplied with a 2.3 m telescopic ladder. The vestibule is not included – a matching vestibule, a longer 2.6 m ladder and other add-ons for this model are listed in the related accessories.

Mounting

The tent can be fitted to any vehicle with two crossbars across the roof or a roof rack (platform). If the rack has a frame higher than its base, you may need an extra bar at frame level so the tent does not drop into the rack.

The mounting brackets are adjustable – they slide along the long side of the tent to match the spacing of your crossbars or roof rack

It is fixed to the crossbars with 8 bolts and 4 flat bars, forming 4 clamps – two per bar.

Minimum crossbar spacing is half the tent size – 70 cm for the 140, 80 cm for the 160, 95 cm for the 190

Setting up

1. Unzip the cover and remove it from the tent
2. Fully extend the ladder
3. Use the ladder as a lever to open the tent
4. Fit the poles supporting the window awnings and rainfly (and on the long version, the pole tensioning the awning over the ladder)

Frequently asked questions

Is the vestibule included?

No. The tent comes with a 2.3 m ladder and without a vestibule. A matching vestibule is sold separately – see the related accessories.

Can I get a longer ladder?

Yes. A 2.3 m ladder is included. For taller vehicles (e.g. a pickup with a canopy) a 2.6 m telescopic ladder is available in the related accessories.

What do I mount the tent on?

On two crossbars or a roof rack (platform). Minimum crossbar spacing is half the tent size – 70 cm for the 140, 80 cm for the 160, 95 cm for the 190.
