Winch Mounting Plates
Winch Mounting Plate Upper, winch hung underneath — Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ 1989-1997
A version of the mounting plate for the Patrol Y60 GQ in which a winch of up to 12,500 lbs hangs below the plate instead of sitting on top of it. 6 and 8 mm structural steel, bolts into the original frame holes, weight approx. 9.3 kg.
This version of the Patrol Y60 plate turns the usual layout upside down: the winch hangs below the plate rather than standing on it. The result is the same — up to 12,500 lbs of pull tucked away behind the factory bumper, and the certainty that the oldest Patrol in the convoy will drive out of any hole under its own power.
The plate bolts to the frame through the original holes — no drilling, no welding. On the left-hand side you slide the supplied nut plate into the frame rail; on the right the factory threads are used. It is made from 6 and 8 mm structural steel sheet, shot-blasted and finished with a two-layer textured powder coat.
