Standard winch mounting plate for the Chevrolet Tahoe 2007-2013 — a winch of up to 12,000 lbs hides completely behind the factory bumper. Structural steel 6 and 8 mm, bolt-on fitting, approx. 12.6 kg.
A big body-on-frame SUV is asking for a winch, but it would be a shame to spoil its factory lines. This mounting plate carries a winch rated up to 12,000 lbs entirely behind the Tahoe's factory bumper — the only cut needed is the fairlead opening where the number plate sits. The front bumper beam stays in the vehicle in one piece.
The plate bolts to the chassis rails and to the bumper beam; fitting requires no drilling and no welding. It is made from 6 mm and 8 mm structural steel, shot-blasted and powder coated in a two-layer textured finish. A cut-out under the drum makes it easier to clear dirt off the rope.
