Before the Tundra gets all-terrain tyres and a winch, it pays to take care of what is easiest to tear off — the underbody. The red OFFROAD package for the 2014-2020 model year gathers four full, deep-drawn skid plates in one set: radiators with the engine, the oil pan with the front differential, the gearbox and the transfer case, together with a dedicated winch mounting plate.

The plates are cut from 4 mm structural steel sheet, shot-blasted and powder-coated in a two-layer textured finish over a class 5 anti-corrosion primer. They bolt into the factory holes in the frame, with no drilling and no welding. Extra holes and cut-outs keep the drivetrain components from overheating and make mud easier to clear; the winch plate is cut from 6 and 8 mm structural steel.
