An AWD Transit gets to building sites and forest tracks where no recovery truck will follow — and there a winch pulling up to 12,500 lbs is the difference between a short break and a lost day. This mounting plate for the Ford Transit AWD 2014-2019 does not require the original bumper reinforcement to be removed: the beam stays on the vehicle.

The plate bolts into the factory locations under the bumper beam and, additionally, under the original suspension cradle bolts — which is why it weighs so little. It is made from 6 mm and 8 mm structural steel sheet, shot-blasted and finished with a two-layer textured powder coat. The opening cut under the drum makes it much easier to clear dirt off the rope as it winds in. No drilling and no welding.
